When should socialization start? Socialization should be an ongoing training and exposure. We recommend puppy classes in groups, play dates, doggy daycare. As long as your puppy has all it's shots, exposure to as many different situations, places, people, things; will make for a much more confident balanced dog. Isolation is what can make anxieties set in as well as guarding issues, inappropriate and excessive barking, separation issues, and other issues. If you are unsure as to how to introduce a new dog into the home or need help working on introductions in general, we are here to help.
